Lithuanian Rally 00‘s by e-LARC
#1
It is time to remember the second decade of restored Lithuania!
At the beginning of the 21st century landing of group A cars became more and more rare. One of the last cars in this class was the Subaru Impreza 555, driven by Rolandas Mackevičius. As Lithuania was getting closer to joining the European Union, our country's rally car park started to be filled with Mitsubishi cars. In search of faster and more reliable technology, participants chose Lancer Evo models that had almost the best value for money. Mitsubishi era in Lithuanian rally continues to this day. For the first time, WRC, N4, R3 and S1600 cars appeared on Lithuanian gravel roads. One such car is the Renault Clio III R3, driven by Dalius Vilimas. In the modernizing fleet of the country rally, it was still possible to meet the legendary red Lada VFTS. The driver of this car, Dovilas Čiutelė, was able to resist even several times more expensive rally cars.

The participants of the second special event will compete on three surfaces: gravel, asphalt and snow. They will be given the opportunity to complete 7 special stages from the 2003 Aukštaitija Rally, the 2005 Visaginas Rally and the 2006 Around Lithuania event.

As we faced with technical problems that did not allow participants to start at "Lithuanian Rally 00's by e-LARC", we decided to create a new tournament. The updated competition will start today at 9 a.m. (GMT+3) and will end at midnight between May 13th and 14th.
